Walking basketball is a low impact, social and fun way to stay active
Walking basketball provides great health benefits to all participants including seniors and people who may be recovering from injury. This version of the sport is ideal for people who love the game and are interested in a slower, more social version of basketball.
How it works
Walking basketball involves 45 minutes on court followed by a shared morning tea. It doesn’t matter if you have never played basketball before, or if you are pretty handy on the court – walking basketball provides a level playing field for everyone within a social, fun and non-competitive environment.

Walking basketball is suitable people of all ages and abilities. It’s a great way to maintain and improve health and decrease risk factors associated with sedentary behaviour.
